Mr. Upperco has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond and a Masters of Education Administration degree from Virginia Tech. During his 33 years in the field of education, Don has served in a variety of capacities, including: high school principal, middle school principal, and director of alternative education. In his current position, he oversees the overall operations of the Pupil Transportation, Fleet Services, Maintenance and Health Services departments. In addition, he is responsible for coordinating the development of the school division’s Capital Improvement Plan.
